Pharmacodynamic: 

Prophylaxis of anti-D (Rho) immunization in negative Rho (D) persons after incompatible transfusion of Rh-positive blood (D) or with erythrocytes concentrates.

 

Pharmacokinetic:

Immuno RHO plasma half life is between 21 to 24 days and plasma level will be 1 nanogram /ml during 10 days after injection of 100mcg of Immuno RHO.

 

Therapeutic indication:

Prophylaxis of anti-D immunization in Rh-negative and in Du – positive women

 

Dosage and administration:

It should be injected in two times: 28th and 34th week of pregnancy by physician.

 

Adverse reaction:

Following undesirable effects may occur during Immuno RHO administration:

Local pain, induration, fever, cutaneos reactions, nausea, vomiting, hypotension, tachycardia and allergic reactions

Contraindication:

Intolerance to blood or blood derivatives due to hypersensitivity to homologous immunoglobulin

 

Pharmacokinetic interactions:

Live vaccines administration in minimum 6 weeks to maximum 3 months may be affected by use of Immuno RHO.

Special warnings:

True allergic to human anti D immunoglubin given in the prescribed intramuscular manner are rare. In the case of shock, treatment should follow the guidelines of shock therapy.

Patients should be observed at least 20 minutes after administration.

Suspicion of allergic or anaphylactic type reactions requires immediate discontinuation of the injection.

 

Pregnancy and lactation:

This medicinal product is used during pregnancy. No harmful effects are known in respect to the course of pregnancy.

Keep in room temperature (15-25 C) away from light. Do not freeze
